Since the 19th Century the last Saturday in April has been a big event in Cardigan. Barley Saturday saw farmers from surrounding area come to town to hire workers and to inspect stallions that are put out to stud.
The first large stanchion that surrounds the walls of Cardigan Castle is being removed in a ceremony on Friday the 8th of March at 12pm.
