Croft House
Croft House is our largest holiday cottage and has six bedrooms so can sleep up to 12 people plus 2 infants in cots.
The great thing about this five star farmhouse is its size and layout which makes it ideal for three-generation family holidays, large group get-togethers, or sharing a break with other friends and families. There’s plenty of room for everyone to feel like they’ve got privacy and space, whilst still offering scope for relaxing, catching up and spending some precious time together as well.
The country-style kitchen is well equipped with a welcoming oil-fired range, as well as a modern cooker. Next to the kitchen is a spacious dining room with a large French oak dining table, comfy sofa and large bay window seat overlooking the private walled garden – ideal for those informal meals which stretch out into the evening ‘Mediterranean-style’ while you chat over a good bottle of wine.
Croft House has two ground floor bedrooms, ideal for those who find stairs difficult. One is a double room with en-suite shower room. The other ground floor bedroom is a twin room, off the kitchen, with its own conservatory and bathroom – so it can be treated as a Private Wing. We can join the twin beds to make a Super King size double.
The wooden staircase leads to the comfortable lounge upstairs, with a wood-burning stove. Across the upstairs landing are two more double bedrooms (one King size) with en-suites. Each has a nearby twin bedroom, ideal for young children and there is also a family bathroom is on this floor too. One of the twin rooms can be converted to a Super King size double, giving you flexible (and super comfy) bed options.
Croft House also has a delightful private sheltered walled garden, with a large Hot Tub (just for your use), outdoor Barbeques, plus a new decked area with table and chairs – perfect for al fresco dining, and making the most of relaxing under the summer sun.

“We stayed at Croft house, which was an excellent venue with fantastic facilities. We were 8 adults and 6 children. There was plenty of room for everybody, with a large kitchen and dining area on the ground floor and a very large sitting room upstairs. Excellent for family gatherings. The children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and play barn. We found the owners of Croft Farm extremely helpful.”
Talar Aur
Talar Aur was once the winter home of the growing steers (cattle) but now this large spacious cottage houses up to 6 guests plus one infant in a cot.
This upside down house has the light and airy living areas upstairs, with doors opening out onto an upstairs balcony to make the most of the far reaching views across to the Preseli Hills of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A glass panelled partition separates the kitchen diner from the sitting room, to continue the sense of space and light.
All the bedrooms are on the ground floor, and consist of one double with ensuite, one twin which can be linked to make a super-king and two single bedrooms.
Talar Aur is popular for larger family groups getting together, and the configuration of the 4 bedrooms means extended family can have some privacy whilst still holidaying together.
The large ground floor family bathroom is well equipped for the demands of a larger group, with separate bath and power shower. There is also a third W.C. upstairs. Talar Aur has a private enclosed garden which makes it ideal for families with toddlers.

“What can I say that has not already been said about this wonderful place! We stayed in Talur Aur with friends. It is a lovely spacious ‘upside’ down cottage & is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The rooms in this cottage allow for different groups to stay together i.e.singles,twin & double room, which is great. You get lovely views from the lounge & kitchen upstairs.
The main reason we booked to stay here was the child friendly focus it is known for. We have two toddlers and their every need was met, whether the sun was out or not. The indoor pool, play barn, outdoor play area and best of all the animal, feeding/petting each morning. There is plenty to see and do if you want to explore or if you don’t want to venture far, Poppit Sands is a lovely beach, just down the road.
We would definitely return & recommend to friends.”

We are located just a few minutes’ drive from the long sandy beach at Poppit Sands, which is always popular with guests, and provides safe bathing for children with lifeguards in attendance during the summer months, and lots of space for kite-flying, games of Frisbee, picnicking, sand-castle building and rock pool exploring!
