It scarcely seems credible that Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books reach their 75th birthday this year! Countryfile are celebrating by sharing details of five rustic properties with their audience, to provide the perfect setting for a holiday adventure of your own, and we’re delighted that WE have been featured as one of the five sites.
With castles-a-plenty, hidden coves with names like The Witches’ Cauldron , secret woodland valleys with tumbling streams, atmospheric Neolithic stone burial chambers, moss-clad rocky outcrops, and local islands just a short boat trip away, all on our doorstep it’s no surprise that our little corner of West Wales inspires the imagination for a ripping family adventure.
What better than a day out exploring, followed by a picnic on the beach with lashings of ginger beer and some oozy marshmallows on sticks toasting over your campfire as the sun sets in a fiery ball over the sea. Sandy toes, a full day of fresh air, and memories of new adventures guarantee a good night’s sleep for everyone!
