Dog Friendly Holidays and Cottages In Pembrokeshire
As dog owners ourselves we understand what it’s like to want to take your dog on holiday with you, and better still to have a handy list of all the ideal places to walk, eat, and visit – which will welcome both you AND your dog – when you get there!
To help you with that we’ve put together this handy updated guide.
Firstly we want you to know that we would love to welcome you to stay at Croft Farm & Celtic Cottages. We are very happy for your dog to come on holiday with you, and our dog-friendly cottages are:
Croft House (sleeps 12 + 2 cots) – dogs allowed downstairs only
The Barn (sleeps 7 + cot)
Meadow Cottage (sleeps 5 + cot)
The Stable (sleeps 4 + cot)
The Cartwheel (sleeps 4 + cot)
The Hayloft (sleeps 4)
The Granary (sleeps 3)
We welcome one well-behaved, house-trained dog over the age of 6 months, or 2 miniatures by prior arrangement, and there is a small charge of £5 per night per dog.

What could be nicer than spending the day exploring with your dog, then returning to enjoy full use of our Leisure Complex to relax and unwind. We have the heated indoor swimming pool with sheltered outdoor sun terrace, poolside sauna, gym, and you can also book a massage.
This part of the Pembrokeshire and the Cardigan Bay coast is a fabulous area to come for a relaxing getaway, and there are LOADS of things to do and places to visit with your dog.
Onsite we have a farm path where you can walk your dog safely without needing to go onto the road. We also happen to be situated on the edge of the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, so no doubt you will want get out and go exploring, and there are walks galore! You can take your dog on the Coastal Path and many of the local beaches. Alternatively you can enjoy the ancient mossy oak woodland and Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber in Ty Canol Nature Reserve, or step back in time with the quiet lanes, river and steep wooded sides of the Gwaun Valley. If you want more far-reaching views you can walk the Golden Way along the spine of the Preseli hills, as well as many shorter walks in the Preselis – for example up to the summit of Carn Ingli with views out over Newport and Cardigan Bay.
Even though some of the West Wales beaches are closed to dogs during the summer season, there are still plenty of beaches which remain open to dogs.

This list is by no means exhaustive, but we hope it goes some way to reassuring you that both you AND your dog will be made very welcome on a holiday here with us at Croft Farm & Celtic Cottages – with plenty of options available to you when you’re out and about exploring our beautiful corner of West Wales!
When you stay with us your dog is welcomed with a doggy treat and poo bags. If you forget anything we have a small selection of blankets, old towels, leads and collars you can borrow.
As we have livestock in the fields adjacent to Croft Farm we request that your dog is kept on a lead and all dog-waste is cleared up and disposed of in the designated dog-waste bins we provide.
